David Frum, a former speechwriter and special assistant to President George W Bush, talks about his new book Trumpocalypse: Restoring American Democracy. He discusses Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis, how Trump is encouraging disinformation and dangerous conspiracy theories about this deadly virus, and whether Republicans may finally get on board with voting rights reforms now that it’s a literal matter of life and death.
