Episodes 14-15: Crazy Anti-Police Protesters Say the Darndest Things

Following the episode on Nelson Mandela, I received several emails saying that I was too harsh in my criticism of Al Sharpton and certain more radical protesters (rioters) in the wake of the Michael Brown and Eric Garner verdicts. One listener suggested that I should attend one of the Black Lives Matter rallies and actually talk to the protesters to learn more. I did just that. And what some of the protesters had to say surprised me. Part 1 - You'll hear protesters talk about slavery as a "recent occurance, praise violent rioting and looting as a form of "righteous rebellion," and one man who advocates overthrowing the U.S. government in an armed communist revolution. Episode 13: Bonus - The Wit & Wisdom of Winston Churchill

As we discussed in the last podcast, one of the keys to Churchill’s greatness was his gift for oratory. He possessed an eloquence and quick wit that shined through not only in his public speeches, but also in countless letters, off the cuff remarks, and anecdotes that range from champagne fueled dinner conversations to bawdy comments made to his his fellow parliament members in the men’s room of the House of Commons. Below are just a few the best Churchill quips recounted in this episode. Click here to listen to the entire podcast episode. “If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain.” - said by Winston
